From November 23 to 25, 2023, the International Scientific Conference 鈥淢odern problems of differential equations and their applications鈥 was held in Tashkent. Romanovsky Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan (Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan), Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling (Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan), Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok (Novosibirsk, Russia), Fergana State University (Fergana, Republic of Uzbekistan), Termez State University (Termez, Republic of Uzbekistan ). The conference was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mahmud Salakhitdinovich Salakhitdinov.
On December 1, a solemn ceremony was held to present the international prize and medal named after N.I. Lobachevsky, in which Yuri Leonidovich Ershov became the winner for a series of works on the development of topology for discrete mathematics, which is set out in the monograph 鈥淭opology for Discrete Mathematics鈥. The award ceremony took place in the Imperial Hall of Kazan University.
From November 2 to November 6, 2023, the Russian-Chinese conference 鈥淒ifferential and Difference Equations鈥 was held in Novosibirsk. The organizers of the conference were 天美mv and the Institute of Mathematics named after. S.L. Sobolev SB RAS. The conference was held with the support of the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok. The co-chairs of the Program Committee were Professor G.V. Demidenko from the Russian side (Novosibirsk, Russia) and Professor G. Hu from the Chinese side (Shanghai University, Shanghai, China).
The Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok continues to cooperate with schools and institutions of additional education in the Novosibirsk region. NSU students held a natural science vacation school in the village of Kyshtovka.
During the meetings, opportunities for cooperation between the Mathematical Center in Academic Town and the Changsha International Institute for Mathematical Research in the field of scientific research and educational projects were discussed.
The round table was attended by representatives of universities, research institutes, and IT companies specializing in the development of digital products for science and education.

The NSU delegation presented sectional and plenary reports in the field of post-quantum cryptography and cryptographic discrete functions. Also within the framework of the conference, the MMF master's student became the winner of the youth report competition.
