This year NSU is in two subject ratings, in one of which became a leader. Overall ARWU includes more than 1800 universities from 96 countries.
Besides NSU, there are 41 universities and institutes based in Russia that entered the 2022-23 edition of the Global 2000 list by Center for World University Rankings (CWUR).

The QS World University Rankings has released QS 鈥� 2022, their authoritative ranking of universities. For the fifth year in a row, NSU is ranked in the top 250 best universities in the world. This year it is rated 246th, third among Russian universities. NSU improved its position by 68 places in relation to the 鈥渟hare of foreign students鈥� indicator and improved the scientific productivity indicator.
