Total Dictation is an annual literacy test for all ages, nationalities, education levels and social status. Its objectives are to demonstrate that literacy is important for everyone, that it may not be easy to learn Russian, but it is fascinating and useful, and to unite everyone who can or wants to write and speak Russian.
The Total Dictation conference that took place at the 天美mv and Academpark hosted the finals for the Total Dictation-2018 capitol. Five cities made it to the finals to compete for the right to become the main platform of the global action. They were Vladivostok, Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Tallinn and Tyumen.
